Lead generation for professional services firms

Pipeline for consultancies, agencies and advisory firms, without the partner doing the prospecting.

Six reasons professional services firms call us

Most have already tried paid ads, or an agency that sent rankings instead of enquiries. Recognise any of these?

Partners are the pipeline

New work depends on the two or three people who are also delivering it. When delivery is busy, prospecting stops, and the gap shows up two quarters later.

Growth rides on referrals

Work arrives through people who already know you, which is flattering and impossible to forecast. You cannot hire against it or plan a year around it.

You look like everyone else

Your buyer is comparing three firms whose websites say the same four things. Nothing in the shortlist process tells them why you are the different one.

AI names your competitors

Buyers now ask an AI engine who to shortlist before they ask a colleague. Someone gets named in that answer, and most firms have no idea who.

Long cycles, no visibility

A deal takes six to twelve months, so you find out marketing was not working about two quarters after it stopped. By then the gap is already in the forecast.

Nobody owns outbound

You know it should be running and no partner has the time. A hire means a salary, a manager and a tool stack before the first meeting happens.

What runs

  • Cold email outreach
  • LinkedIn outreach
  • Appointment setting
  • Search and SEO
  • AI answer engines
  • Lead-capture audit

Where the proof is, and is not

There is no published CRESCO case study in professional services. The one engagement we publish in full is a commercial cleaning company, and the figures in it belong to that vertical rather than to this one. The method, the per-market sending policy and senior-led delivery apply here; the results are not transferable and we will not present them as though they were.

Six markets we refuse to email

A different rule in every country, and getting it wrong exposes you, not your agency.

Market What we run Why
United States Email and LinkedIn CAN-SPAM. Opt-out model, honest headers, a working unsubscribe in every message.
United Kingdom Email and LinkedIn PECR treats limited companies, LLPs and public bodies as corporate subscribers, so B2B email is lawful without prior consent. Sole traders are not, and we exclude them.
Ireland, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Finland Email and LinkedIn Business contact under legitimate interest. We write to people about their job, with a way to opt out in every message.
France Email, carefully B2B permitted where the message genuinely relates to the professional role.
Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy, Poland, Belgium, Denmark LinkedIn only These markets need consent before you can email a business. German law gives business recipients no exemption, and Denmark applies the same requirement to business recipients. We will not send there, and we will say so instead of taking the budget.

Not legal advice. Where your situation is borderline we will say so and recommend you take advice first.

Questions we get asked

Does cold email work for a firm that sells on reputation?

Less well than for a product, and we will say that up front. It works when the reason for contact is specific and the sender is senior. Volume outreach from a junior inbox does more damage to a reputation than it is worth.

Our sales cycle is nine months. How soon will we know it is working?

Later than you would like. Leading indicators move first, meetings booked and the quality of replies, and those are what gets reported monthly rather than a revenue number nobody can attribute yet.

Can you write about our subject without being an expert in it?

Not credibly on our own, which is why the plan includes time from someone at your firm. The writing is done by people who know the subject, and the briefs are built from your expertise rather than around it.

Do you have a client in professional services we can look at?

Not a published one. The only case study on this site is a commercial cleaning company, and we would rather point at that plainly than describe an engagement we cannot show you.

Thirty minutes, a written plan, no charge

You leave with the markets you can lawfully reach, what the first ninety days look like, and a real number. Free, whether you hire us or not.
